Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information is collected through kishankrsoni.com and in the course of providing services, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Who is responsible for your information
Kishan Kr Soni, an independent professional based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India ("I", "me"). For any privacy question or request, email hello@kishankrsoni.com.
What I collect
When you contact me
If you email me or message me on LinkedIn, I receive your name, your email address or profile, and whatever you choose to write. I use it only to reply and, if we work together, to deliver the work.
When you book a call
Calls are booked through Calendly. Calendly collects the details you enter in the booking form (such as your name, email and any answers you give) and shares them with me so I can hold the call. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to how it handles that information.
When you download the free guide
The guide is a direct download. I don't ask for your email address to download it.
When you visit the website
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site (MilesWeb) automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google. WordPress may set small technical cookies needed for the site to work. I don't currently use advertising cookies or sell any data.
When you become a client
To deliver services, I handle the material you give me: recordings, documents, brand assets, website or account access, and business information. This is used only to do the work you've asked for, and is covered in more detail by our agreement and the terms and conditions.
Service providers I rely on
To run the business and deliver the work, information may be processed by trusted third-party tools, including website hosting, email, scheduling (Calendly), file storage, and the video, voice, writing and automation software used in production (for example, AI video and voice tools). I choose these tools for the work they do, give them only what the task needs, and don't upload client material to any tool whose terms allow it to be published or sold. Some of these providers are located outside India and outside your country.
Why I use your information
- To reply to you and hold calls you book
- To prepare proposals and deliver services you've asked for
- To send invoices and keep financial records required by law
- To keep the website secure and working
I don't use your information for automated decisions about you, and I don't sell or rent it to anyone.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client project material is kept for the length of the engagement and up to 12 months after it ends, unless you ask for earlier deletion. Invoices and accounting records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the EU and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws such as California's give you rights over your personal information. Whatever your location, you can ask me to:
- Tell you what personal information I hold about you and send you a copy
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information, where I'm not legally required to keep it
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose
Email hello@kishankrsoni.com and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK and aren't satisfied with my response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Access to client accounts and files is limited to what each task needs, and passwords are never shared over plain email. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site and my services are for businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the change is significant and I have your email address because we work together, I'll tell you directly.
